This article investigates authorial neologisms as a salient linguistic marker of individual authorial style (idiolect) in Russian, Uzbek, and English literary discourse of the 20th–21st centuries. The study focuses on the interaction between word-formation mechanisms, cognitive-stylistic strategies, and the construction of artistic worldview in literary texts. Particular attention is given to the functional-semantic potential of neologisms in shaping narrative structure, aesthetic effect, and conceptual representation of reality. The empirical material is drawn from selected works of Viktor Pelevin, Chingiz Aitmatov, James Joyce, Thomas Pynchon, and Margaret Mitchell, representing distinct literary traditions and cultural paradigms. The analysis reveals typological diversity of authorial neologisms, including morphological, semantic, and hybrid formations, as well as their pragmatic and stylistic functions. Furthermore, the study addresses the sociocultural determinism of neologism formation, emphasizing the influence of historical transformations, ideological shifts, and technological progress on lexical innovation. The findings demonstrate that authorial neologisms function not only as stylistic markers of individual creativity but also as cognitive-linguistic instruments that encode cultural meanings, ideological positions, and epoch-specific worldviews.
