THE ROLE OF SPORT IN DEVELOPING SOCIAL INCLUSION IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of sport in developing social inclusion in the education system from scientific-theoretical and practical perspectives. It highlights the role of sports activities and physical education processes in actively engaging learners from various social groups, including persons with disabilities, socially vulnerable groups, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, in social life. The study substantiates the role of sport in creating equal opportunities within the educational environment, strengthening social adaptation, and developing teamwork and cooperation skills. In addition, the issues of overcoming social barriers, preventing discrimination, and implementing the principles of inclusive education through sports activities are examined. The research findings demonstrate the necessity of widely introducing sport as an effective tool for promoting social inclusion in the education system.
