THE USE OF DIDACTIC GAMES IN MATHEMATICS LESSONS IN A SPECIALIZED AUXILIARY SCHOOL

Abstract

This article discusses the issues of effective use of didactic games in organizing mathematics lessons in specialized auxiliary schools. The article scientifically and methodologically substantiates the role of game technologies in activating the cognitive activity of mentally retarded (with intellectual developmental defects) students, forming and strengthening their mathematical imagination. The content, types of didactic games and the criteria for selecting them in accordance with the purpose of the lesson are analyzed. Also, the possibilities of developing students' thinking, memory, attention, quick thinking, comparison and generalization skills during the game process are indicated. This article serves to provide methodological recommendations to teachers, researchers and students working in the field of special pedagogy, in particular, oligophrenopedagogy.
