This article discusses a digital-technology-based methodology for teaching Russian professional (medical) terminology in higher medical education. It examines principles for organizing terminology training in digital environments and the instructional potential of interactive platforms, mobile applications, electronic dictionaries, and LMS solutions (e.g., Moodle/Google Classroom) to deliver tasks and monitor progress. The study emphasizes contextual learning through clinical scenarios, simulation-based materials, and case tasks, as well as personalization, rapid feedback, adaptive testing, and formative assessment. It also outlines benefits (motivation, visualization, learner autonomy, efficient control) and constraints (content quality, digital literacy, academic integrity), offering practical recommendations for implementation.
