Abstract

This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical effectiveness of a pedagogical model for developing students’ pragmatic competence through communicative tasks. The study aims to explore how systematic use of communicative activities can enhance learners’ ability to employ speech acts appropriately, interpret context, and apply interactional strategies. A mixed-methods design was used to evaluate the model. The findings indicate that the proposed framework significantly contributes to pragmatic development and can inform improvements in higher education language pedagogy.
