Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the linguistic, cultural, and didactic foundations of using literary texts in foreign language teaching. It substantiates the role of literary works in the language learning process, emphasizing their importance in developing lexical and grammatical competences in a natural context. Furthermore, the article highlights the potential of literary texts to foster intercultural communicative competence and to deepen learners’ understanding of the stylistic and semantic layers of language.
