This article explores the importance of developing communicative competence to foster social adaptation in children with hearing impairments. The study results indicate that specialized pedagogical approaches, visual aids, sign language, and interactive games significantly improve children’s communication skills. Additionally, interactions with peers, social activity, and the ability to express personal thoughts are enhanced. The research also confirms that cooperation among parents, teachers, and speech therapists is crucial for developing communicative and social adaptation skills. When these approaches are effectively applied at school and home, children with hearing impairments achieve successful integration into society and better social participation.
