This article analyzes the structural-semantic and communicative-pragmatic features of scientific article vocabulary in English, Russian, and Uzbek. The aim of the study is to identify and describe nominal terminological units, verbal and verbo-nominal constructions, and metadiscursive markers that are actively used in scientific article writing. The findings show that in all three languages the lexical core of the scientific article consists of terminological nouns, verbs denoting research procedures and results, and logical-metadiscursive units.
