Abstract

This article offers a philosophical analysis of the phenomenon of aesthetic consciousness in the context of modern society. The study focuses on a systematic examination of the epistemological (perception and cognition), axiological (values and evaluation), anthropological (human experience and creativity), and socio-cultural (culture, mass media, and globalization) dimensions of aesthetic consciousness. Drawing on classical philosophical approaches (Kant and Hegel), as well as contemporary theoretical frameworks (Adorno, Baudrillard, Lotman, Jameson, among others), the article examines the processes of transformation of aesthetic consciousness, including its fragmentation, standardization, and simulation under the influence of mass culture and the digital environment. The paper further explores the role of aesthetic consciousness in the spiritual development of society under contemporary conditions, highlighting the pluralization of aesthetic value systems and new interpretations of the aesthetic ideal from a scientific and theoretical perspective. As a result, aesthetic consciousness is understood not only as the capacity to perceive beauty, but also as a complex philosophical phenomenon that enables meaning-making, social identification, and cultural communication.
