A STUDY OF LINGUISTIC AND NON-LINGUISTIC MEANS OF EXPRESSING EMOTIONAL-EXPRESSIVENESS IN SAID AHMAD’S STORY “THE GATE FROM WHICH THERE IS NO RETURN”

Abstract

Every reader feels various changes in his consciousness through the text of the work while reading a novel, epic or story. In this process, of course, the writer's skill, that is, the experience of using words and phrases in their place, is the leader. This article conducts a scientific study of several types of linguistic and non-linguistic means of expressing emotional expressiveness in Said Ahmed's story "The Gate That Will Not Come". As we know, this story is considered an autobiographical story by Said Ahmed. This story extensively covers the inner world, memories and losses of the hero. The work makes the reader think about time, life and human values. The images and images in it are distinguished by their emotional richness, each event reaches close to the heart. Throughout the work, human experiences, dreams and sufferings are combined, creating a deep philosophical content. In this regard, the story attracts attention with its impact and artistic height. During the acquaintance with the text of the story, we witness the means of expressing strong emotions in several places. Also, during the research, the text of the work is studied in more depth, highlighting the main idea, artistic intention and content levels put forward by the author.
