Abstract

This article analyzes the educational reforms carried out within the framework of the Jadid movement and examines the formation and development of the "Usuli Jadid" schools. It highlights the efforts of Jadid reformers to transform the traditional school system, introduce modern secular knowledge, apply new teaching methods, and create new textbooks. The article also presents a comparative analysis of the differences between the traditional education system and Jadid schools. In addition, it emphasizes that the pedagogical views of Jadid educators on educating the younger generation to become enlightened, independent-thinking, and intellectually developed individuals remain highly relevant for modern education.
