ISSUES OF DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES OF TEACHERS OF MODERN TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION

The article analyzes the issue of developing professional and technological competencies of future technology teachers based on a competency-based approach. The study highlights the pedagogical essence of the concepts of competence, professional competence and technological competence, and justifies their role in the technological education process. Also, bioinspirational modeling is considered as an effective pedagogical mechanism for developing technological competencies within the framework of the STEAM education concept and interdisciplinary integration.
