The study reveals the role of the press during the Second World War and the post-war period in mobilizing the population politically and morally, promoting ideas of labor heroism and patriotism, and embedding state policy into public consciousness. Through an analysis of materials covering production indicators, the labor of women and adolescents, interethnic solidarity, and relocated populations, the article substantiates the role of the local press not only as a source of information but also as an instrument of ideological governance. The press materials are assessed as historical sources, and their significance in reconstructing the socio-political environment of society is highlighted.
