Abstract

This article scientifically analyzes the role and importance of children's poetry in the development of speech competencies of primary school students. The research covers methodological methods for increasing students' vocabulary, forming pronunciation culture, and expanding artistic thinking with the help of poetic works. The practical exercises and tabular analyses presented in the article serve to prove the effectiveness of working on poetic texts. The pedagogical results of teaching poetry through interactive methods in the modern educational process are also described.
