LEXICAL-SEMANTIC FEATURES OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN ALISHER NAVOI’S WORK “MAHBUB UL-QULUB”

This article analyzes the lexical and semantic features of phraseological units used in Alisher Navoi’s work “Mahbub ul-Qulub.” The study reveals that phraseological units serve as an important means of enhancing the expressiveness of literary discourse, conveying the author’s moral and philosophical views, and vividly reflecting social relations. The research includes a comparative analysis of certain lexical components of phraseological units, their historical-semantic transformations, and their equivalents in modern Uzbek. The findings demonstrate that phraseological units in “Mahbub ul-Qulub” function not only as stylistic embellishments but also as significant semantic tools that deepen the didactic and educational content of the work.
