DIDACTIC PRINCIPLES OF ORGANISING AUTONOMOUS LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Autonomous learning has become a central component of modern higher education, as it enables learners to take responsibility for their own learning processes and outcomes. This article examines the pedagogical and didactic principles underlying the organisation of autonomous learning in contemporary educational contexts. The study aims to systematise key principles such as learner responsibility, self-regulation, goal-oriented learning, reflective practice, and instructional support. Using analytical and comparative methods, the paper synthesises theoretical perspectives on autonomous learning and highlights their relevance to higher education. The findings indicate that effective organisation of autonomous learning requires a balanced integration of guidance and independence, as well as clearly defined learning objectives and evaluation criteria. The article contributes to the theoretical understanding of autonomous learning and provides methodological insights for its practical implementation in higher education institutions.
