Mazkur maqolada prokrastinatsiya tushunchasining psixologik mohiyati va unga oid asosiy ilmiy talqinlar tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda prokrastinatsiya shaxsning motivatsion, kognitiv, emotsional va irodaviy xususiyatlari bilan uzviy bog‘liq bo‘lgan murakkab psixologik hodisa sifatida yoritiladi. Shuningdek, prokrastinatsiyaning turlari, uni yuzaga keltiruvchi omillar hamda talabalar faoliyatidagi namoyon bo‘lishi nazariy va empirik jihatdan ko‘rib chiqiladi. Innovatsion texnologiyalar universitetida 53 nafar talaba ishtirokida o‘tkazilgan empirik tadqiqot natijalari talabalarning katta qismida prokrastinatsiyaning o‘rtacha va yuqori darajalari kuzatilishini ko‘rsatdi. Olingan xulosalar prokrastinatsiyani kamaytirishga qaratilgan psixologik va pedagogik strategiyalarni ishlab chiqish uchun muhim ilmiy-amaliy ahamiyatga ega.
