The article examines impairments in motor planning and speech programming processes in the context of dyspraxia, a developmental coordination disorder. Dyspraxia is associated with insufficient coordination among different areas of the central nervous system — the frontal cortex, parietal regions, basal ganglia, and cerebellum — which reduces a child’s ability to perform movements in a sequential, precise, and goal-directed manner. The process of speech programming is also closely related to central motor systems and provides the necessary conditions for the sequence, rhythm, and tempo of articulatory movements. The study analyzes the effectiveness of pedagogical and speech therapy approaches for children with dyspraxia (pedagogical adaptation, multisensory exercises, speech therapy exercises, motor speech therapy, rhythmic-musical activities, psychological support, and parent collaboration). The article demonstrates ways to reduce dyspraxia-related impairments through the integration of motor and speech systems, sensorimotor connections, and the development of articulatory movements.
