HUMOR IN THE ORIGINAL AND TRANSLATION: STRATEGIES OF TRANSMISSION IN THE WORKS OF KHUDAYBERDI TUKHTABAYEV

This article examines the specifics of conveying humor in the translation of Khudaiberdy Tukhtabaev's works as an important element of children's literature. It analyzes the main types of humor (lexical, situational, and cultural) and the challenges of interpreting them during cross-linguistic and cross-cultural translation. Particular attention is paid to translation strategies such as literal translation, adaptation, compensation, omission, and clarification, as well as their impact on preserving or modifying the comic effect.
