Abstract

This article examines the semantic and pragmatic features of expressions conveying personal attitude in English and Uzbek and develops their typology. The study analyzes the functions of such expressions in communication, their dependence on context, and their role in expressing the speaker’s subjective stance. It also identifies similarities and differences based on data from both languages. The findings contribute to comparative linguistics, pragmatics, and translation studies.
