THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY IN EDUCATING STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Abstract

This article examines the role and significance of the family in the education of students with special needs. It analyzes the impact of the family environment on the personal development, social adaptation, and overall growth of children with developmental challenges. The study substantiates the importance of cooperation between special corrective pedagogy, school, community (mahalla), and family. Special attention is given to parental pedagogical literacy, organizing corrective activities at home, and creating a positive socio-psychological environment for child development. The findings emphasize the need to strengthen the leading role of the family in raising children with special needs.
