THE USE OF REPORTED SPEECH IN LITERARY TEXTS

Abstract

This article discusses the use of non-original quotations in literary texts. Therefore, the formation of the structure of non-original quotations in a literary text according to the laws of the text, not according to grammar, is carried out through the thinking and consciousness of the creator. As a generalization of the author's thoughts, the text manifests this both at the semantic and grammatical levels. When we compare non-original quotations with quotations and appropriation sentences, we can determine the structure and functional capabilities of this phenomenon, and then determine the importance of these two methods of speech expression in the formation of non-original quotations. Thinking about non-original quotations also requires talking about the stylistics of the text, the principle of interpreting linguistic units used in the text.
