This article substantiates the relevance of modernizing the methodology for teaching graphic disciplines (drafting/drawing) in the training of future fine arts teachers, within the context of general calls for progress and movement in education. Based on the quote by Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi and the appeals of President Sh. Mirziyoyev for the renewal of methodologies and standards, the critical importance of graphic works in engineering, architecture, and design is emphasized. The teaching methodology is described, where graphic works perform controlling, educational, and developmental functions. Requirements for organizing classes are presented (variability of tasks, self-monitoring plans), along with the structure of the methodology, which includes theoretical preparation, practical sessions, and project activities. As a practical outcome, an example of an assignment is provided, which demonstrates the advantages of digital technologies (AutoCAD) compared to traditional drafting.
