Translation studies has historically served as one of the primary means of facilitating intercultural communication and has played a significant role in shaping cultural, economic, and scientific relations. The translation of financial and economic texts is a complex process that requires linguistic accuracy, functional adequacy, and clear communicative transmission. The issue of equivalence is one of the fundamental principles of translation theory and involves ensuring semantic, structural, and communicative correspondence between the source and target texts. This is particularly important for financial and economic documents, reports, and analytical texts, as they aim to convey precise and unambiguous information. The present article explores these issues.
