Abstract

This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the linguocultural features of phraseological units in Uzbek and English. The study examines phraseological units–stable, idiomatic, and structurally integral expressions–as an important linguistic phenomenon reflecting national culture, historical experience, and social consciousness. The article explores the semantic, structural, and pragmatic characteristics of phraseological units, as well as their role in conveying cultural codes and national mentality.
