Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical aspects of developing the mathematical competence of future primary school teachers through the study of basic geometric concepts. In modern education, it is important to provide future teachers with strong mathematical knowledge and skills, particularly in geometry, to effectively teach primary school students. The study analyzes the potential of geometric concepts in developing students’ logical thinking, spatial imagination, and mathematical reasoning. It also highlights the use of interactive teaching methods in the process of teaching geometry. The research findings contribute to improving the professional training of future primary school teachers and enhancing their mathematical competence.
