MODEL FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ SOCIAL COMPETENCE BASED ON AN INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH

This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing students’ social competence in higher education institutions using the course “Modern History of Uzbekistan” as an example. The study highlights the application of a competency-based approach in the educational process, the pedagogical conditions for the development of social competencies, as well as the role of teaching methods and modern pedagogical technologies. In addition, based on the analysis of existing curricula, educational standards, and the current teaching practices, the article identifies the main problems encountered in the formation of students’ social competence and scientifically substantiates ways to overcome them. The research develops a model for the development of students’ social competencies based on the methodology of pedagogical modeling, demonstrating the interconnection between the goal, pedagogical process, and outcome blocks. The proposed model contributes to the effective implementation of the competency-based approach in the educational process and promotes the development of students’ social activity, creative thinking, and professional readiness.
