METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ ARTISTIC AND CREATIVE COMPETENCE BASED ON THE INTEGRATION OF VISUAL ARTS AND POTTERY

This article provides a scientific analysis of the pedagogical possibilities of integrating visual arts and pottery in developing the artistic and creative competence of students in general secondary schools. The use of elements of national applied arts in the educational process is an important factor in enhancing students’ aesthetic thinking, artistic perception, and creative activity. The study employed integrated teaching methods, pedagogical observation, experimental testing, and comparative analysis. The results of the research demonstrated that enriching visual arts lessons with elements of pottery serves as an effective pedagogical tool for developing students’ artistic thinking, broadening their aesthetic outlook, and fostering their creative independence.
