TIME MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES AMONG STUDENTS AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE

Abstract

This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of one of the key psychological 
factors influencing students’ academic success – time management strategies. The study examines, 
both theoretically and empirically, the impact of time planning, prioritization, self-control, 
motivation, and the level of procrastination on academic performance. Based on the integration of 
national and international research, the role of time management in the development of students’ 
personality is revealed. The findings indicate that students with well-developed time management 
skills achieve higher academic outcomes. The article also presents practical recommendations 
aimed at developing time management competencies within the educational process.
