Abstract

Modern foreign language education faces the problem of low student motivation,
insufficient engagement, and limited opportunities for individualized learning in traditional
classroom settings. This article examines the effectiveness of blended learning as a solution to
these challenges. The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of blended learning on students’
motivation, academic performance, and development of independent learning skills. Methods
included surveys, testing in grammar, listening, and speaking skills, and observation of students’
engagement in both offline and online components. Results demonstrated that blended learning
significantly improves academic performance, enhances communicative competence, fosters
independent learning, and develops digital literacy. Therefore, blended learning is an effective
pedagogical approach that promotes comprehensive student development and increases overall
motivation.
